I just wanted to let you all know that Jeffy and I are both in unbelievable pain!!! I can hardly move but with two kids that really isn’t an option and so I am moving and walking in constant pain. We both have pain in the same places but we each have pain in different places as well. My back feels like it is in pieces, probably from falling off the snowmobile, and Jeffy’s quads and obliques (he just wants to sound macho) are killing him. We attempted Stake Conference today and made it all the way through but we were sitting in the hard chairs near the back and so we were both very uncomfortable. Anyway, Ibu doesn’t seem to be doing anything and all I really want is a piece of chocolate.

Jeffy and I had such a fun day today! We went snowmobiling with his company up in Midway, which is by Heber, so for us it was about an hour drive. We got Laura to babysit the kids for us and so off we went. We left at about 11am, got some lunch, and then got to Midway just after noon. We waited for everyone to get there and then headed up to the snowmobiling place. We got in our awesome jumpsuits, helmets, boots, gloves and goggles and got on our snowmobiles. Since I had never done it before and Jeff hadn’t done it in 8 years we decided to share on this time around. They weren’t anything like I had pictured. I thought they were basically 4 wheelers on skis, but not so much. Anyway, we went up the mountain about 10-15 miles and then got to a nice big open field where we could just go wild. One of his co-workers let me use her ski doo because her arm was hurting and so I got to go all by myself and WOW!!! I LOVED IT!!! It brought back so many memories of jet skiing and being crazy like that. Getting the ski-doo to turn was a skill in it’s own but once you learn how to do that it’s really fun. After being there for awhile they took us up a little higher to another open field and let us go nuts there. This one had a jump that Jeffy had tried and he told me about it and so he took me on it and it was awesome so we did it again. But the second time I landed funny and got ejected off the snowmobile and rolled and rolled and rolled. It hurt like I fell off a ski-doo but overall it could have been worse. Anyway, after that I was a little nervous about it so I stayed back on the double with Jeffy. Then they took us back to the resort and we had a fun dinner with yummy food. But now it’s time for bed so that we can both get some well deserved rest.

That’s right, Logan!! On Valentine’s Day, Logan started taking off all by himself. We practiced with him all day and Lindsay had a blast getting him to walk to her. He is so cute to watch because you know he is just so excited about the new thing he learned how to do. And sometimes he’ll get too excited and just fall down but he’s okay with that, too. So right now he walks about half the time and crawls the rest of the time. We can’t believe he’ll be one in less than two weeks. We love our Bubbalubs!

P.S. I’ll get the video of him walking up here as soon as I figure out how to get it off the video camera. Here is the video:

This past month Jeffy and I finally paid off all of our credit card debt. Yippee!! So, when we got our tax return we decided we had earned it to spend it this time. So, we spent all day yesterday going store to store buying things that we have been wanting or needing for the past little while. We bought the love seat that matches our couch, a new dresser for Lindsay, a freezer, a surround sound system, and oh yes, a new HDTV!!

Vizio

This baby is a Vizio 47″ LCD HDTV and so far we love it. Dora is bigger than she needs to be but it is really fun. It was the most money we had ever spent in one day and it was a lot of fun. Probably won’t happen again for a long time so we reveled in it for awhile. The kids did great all day and overall it was a lot of fun.

Me and the kids have been stuck in the house, for the most part, for the last two weeks and we’re running out of things to do. Last week me and the kids were sick and stayed home from church on Sunday and then spent most of the week recovering and now this week little Logan has a stomach bug and hasn’t really eaten anything but crackers and cheerios since Friday morning. I hope he’s on the tail end of this thing because it has been hard to watch him be miserable. So, we’ve missed church and gymnastics but we’re hanging in there.

Lindsay is feeling good and we’re so happy about that! This is just a little video of just how silly Lindsay can be. This is how she is most of the day. It’s really fun!

Blue Man Group

Jeffy and I went to see the Blue Man Group in Salt Lake City last night. It was an incredible experience and we had a lot of fun! It’s hard to describe what they do except that it was a lot of visual and sensory stimulation. It was awesome!

Last night was the first time we left Logan with a teenager and only the second time we left Lindsay since she was one. Needless to say, I was very nervous! We had Kathryn Hacking watch the kids and she did a great job! Lindsay ended up throwing up and Kathryn handled it like it was no big deal. We’re so thankful for her and glad she wasn’t too grossed out. She is great for any of you out there looking for a babysitter (and by any of you, I mean those of you in the 9th/10th ward boundaries).

Lindsay is still pretty sick. She only throw up the one time but has a terrible cough and awful congestion. We spent all day on the couch watching movies. Logan is sick too but not nearly as bad and we hope he doesn’t get worse. I’m not feeling great but hanging in there. We ALL hope Jeffy doesn’t get sick so that he can take care of us. We too are looking forward to Spring, but even though we’ve been pretty sick this winter, we’ve really enjoyed the snow!
