When I’m doing Lindsay’s hair in the morning, I have a little spray bottle that I use to get it wet so that it’s easier to do. Anyway, she likes to spray it in her mouth and drink it and she also likes to spray Logan in the face with it and he thinks it’s hilarious! This kid is going to love the water this summer! Anyway, Logan got a hold of it and was sucking on the end trying to get some water out of it but never got it to work. Then later this afternoon he found it again and was just playing with it and then suddenly figured out how to squeeze the lever to get the water out. The funny thing is that he was holding it towards him so he was spraying himself in the face every time! I wish I had gotten a picture or video of it because it was too funny! He’d gasp every time he got wet and Lindsay and I were just cracking up! Lindsay and I were sitting by the window watching the rain and Logan comes over and he’s got water drops all over his face and his shirt is soaking wet! I guess we had a little rain storm inside our house! It was really funny!

Tonight as I was folding some laundry I called my dad to ask him a question. As I was talking Logan was messing with the speaker sound for the tv and Lindsay was over there trying to get him to stop. I let them alone to see if they could work it out on their own and the next thing I know Logan is down on the ground and it looked like Lindsay had pushed him. I immediately asked what just happened and she said she was carrying him to get him away from the sound box. She was crying because she thought I was mad at her. Anyway, I asked her if she wanted to talk to Grandpa Madsen and she said yes and had a sweet, although short, conversation with Grandpa. And before she was done the tv went back to live TV and the sound was up to 72!!! Any of you with surround sound know how loud that is! I jumped up to turn it down and then my dad said he had another call so I hung up. And Lindsay bursts into tears and I said, “But I didn’t get to say goodbye or that I love you!!” She was so sad! I reassured her that Grandpa always knows she loves him and that seemed to help but she still seemed so sad about it. So, Grandpa Madsen, Lindsay loves you!! Bye.

Last Sunday was our very last Sunday going to church in Cedar Fort. Our new building is done and so now we can walk to church in the beautiful weather (well, until it gets too hot!) I’ve really enjoyed going to church in Cedar Fort and have even really enjoyed the 3 o’clock time. It was actually a very humbling experience for me to know that driving 15 minutes to church is like nothing to people around the world who have to drive hours to get to church. I never had a problem with it but it did put some things into perspective. At least I didn’t have to pack a bag with extra clothes to go to church. I’ll miss you Cedar Fort but I do look forward to being in walking distance.
