This past week we were lucky enough to go down to Arizona for a family reunion with the Madsen (Beth) side of the family. We don’t see my side of the family as often so we treasure the time we do have to be with each other. My parents, grandparents, my brother Pete and his family, and my sister and her family, and us of course, were all there. My brother Spencer and his wife were the only ones who weren’t there and we missed them dearly. My dad found a big house to rent for the week so we all got to be together comfortably, all in our own rooms. The house had a pool in the back so we went swimming for 4-5 hours everyday. The only “real” thing we did was go to church and see my brother bless his new baby boy, which was wonderful. Other than that we hung out, chit chatting and swimming. It was fun to see all the grandkids together, playing and having a good time. Lindsay has adored my sister’s baby boy, Baby Ben, since we first saw him last Thanksgiving when he was tiny. She prays for him every night and was SO excited to see him! She loved playing with him and even got to help feed him sometimes which she thought was great!

After my brother’s new baby was born, Lindsay started praying for both Baby Ben and Baby Caiden and she was equally excited to hold baby Caiden, which she did as much as she could!

Logan was so funny with Baby Ben and Baby Caiden. He was constantly saying ‘baby’ when we saw or heard either of them and loved giving them kisses. Ben and Logan are almost the same size and they are 7 months apart! Logan is 17 months old and Ben is almost 10 months! It was crazy.
This picture cracks me up because Logan looks like he’s going to eat Baby Caiden.

We enjoyed our time there so much! There was a lot of playing, reading, and games. After the kids went to bed the grown ups played games and they were lots of fun! Everyone’s inner-selves came out during those games. Good times! Thanks for the memories everyone! It was awesome to see you all and we love you and miss you so much!
