As most of you know, I’ve been feeling pretty lousy for the last 2 months and pretty awful the last week and a half. Well, after being feverish all night and all morning, we went back to the doctor (for the 5th time) where they finally discovered that I have pneumonia. Yep, pneumonia. In September. SERIOUSLY??? For weeks they said it was just allergies but I always felt like it was something more. I went to two different doctors and neither of them could ‘hear’ anything with their stethoscope so they just assumed it was allergies. So, this time when he went to listen again and still could not hear anything, I just wanted to cry. I’m not making this up!! So, that’s when the doctor ordered a chest x-ray and sure enough, there was the little while cloud you never want to see on a chest x-ray. It’s not the worst kind of pneumonia you can get but it’s definitely there and definitely rearing it’s ugly self. They gave me a shot of antibiotics there in the office and also a prescription for an antibiotic pill. I’ve spent most of the day in bed and missing my kids terribly. Thankfully, Jeffy was able to take the day off of work and thankfully we have wonderful friends who are so willing to help when needed. Thanks so much Poulsons! Anyway, hopefully it won’t last as long as it did when I was 9, otherwise you can just count me out of everything for the next two weeks.

2Poor Bethy! I’m glad you have so many friends who love you and will help you, since I couldn’t come. I hope you will be better really soon, but you’re still going to need lots of rest for a few days even after you feel better.

3Oh that stinks. I hope you get feeling better soon. Being sick when you’re a mom sucks. Like you get to relax. But I’m sure Jeff is waiting on your hand and foot and doing all the stuff around the house. If he’s not, let me know.
