20 years ago I was,
1. starting first grade
2. coming home from school, making french fries and watching Casper, the Friendly Ghost
3. climbing up every big tree I could see
10 years ago I was,
1. in marching band
2. a new driver
3. totally into the X-Files
5 years ago I was,
1. a newlywed
2. attending my second, and last, semester at BYU
3. in love with our first apartment with the orange shag carpet
3 years ago I was,
1. a mother of a 10 month old Lindsay girl (wow!)
2. thinking about what to do for her first birthday
3. watching all the news coverage from Hurricane Katrina
1 year ago I was,
1. amazed that Logan was already 6 months old
2. in Cub Scouts
3. wondering how we had lived in our house for a year and a half already
So far this year I have,
1. celebrated Logan’s first birthday
2. been to two new places I’ve never been before
3. watched Lindsay become an awesome reader
Yesterday I,
1. walked across the Brooklyn Bridge
2. went to the top of the Empire State Building
3. watched a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium. Awesome.
Today I,
1. saw my kids again! yay!
2. watched Logan throw a fit for over an hour
3. talked to my sister on the phone
Tomorrow I will,
1. take Lindsay to preschool
2. help Jeffy finish leveling the backyard
3. get our sod for our backyard (who’s coming over to help?)
This was fun so now it’s your turn!!

teaching my mom to drive again after her stroke

Happy that Jeff was home from his mission
Sad that Lane was gone on his mission
Lonely because Rocky was the bishop

So happy that Jeff was married to Beth!
On chemo and prednisone, gaining weight
Still enjoying my new house, after 2 1/2 years
3 years ago I was:
Working
Cleaning the house
Losing weight with phentermine
1 year ago I was:
teaching Primary Valiant 9
nearly crying every Sunday afternoon
feeling guilty that #1 led to #2
So far this year I have:
Become the bishop’s wife again
Joined the singles ward (see #1)
Lost some of the weight I gained back after I lost it after I gained it from the prednisone
Yesterday I:
Took a nap at 11 a.m.
Spoke up in Sunday School AND Relief Society!
Wrote in my journal
Today I:
Left the front door wide open when I left for work
Drank a low-carb SlimFast for breakfast
Resolved to get my desk organized
Tomorrow I will:
Add to my dad’s life history
Go to the gym after work, unless I get stubborn
Love my family!
