Jeff and I have been watching the new tv show Fringe and we both really like it. It’s like the new X-files for the new century. It’s weird and unrealistic but yet you just want to see what happens next and how it ends! How do they do that? But seriously, who comes up with this stuff? I try not to think about the people who write these stories because it disturbs me that they are out there walking around.

1I just watched the first episode last night! What I really liked was how they told you how long the commercial break would be, and they were all only two or three clicks of the FF. But I suppose that was only for that premiere episode.
But yeah, the story was intriguing, and I didn’t trust the bad guy from the beginning. I look forward to watching some more tonight.

2It wasn’t just for the premiere, Mom! Most commercial breaks still start with, “Fringe will be back in X seconds.” I love it. And I think it’s a great idea for the networks, because when they say 70 seconds, I hit my 30-second-skip button twice, which means I am there for the last ten seconds, which is a promo for some show coming up on Fox. If they hadn’t told me how long it was going to be, I would have ended up hitting my 30-sec button three times, then the 10-second-back button twice, and I wouldn’t have seen any of their silly commercials.

3Cool! Maybe it will be my new favorite show. To me it seems to be a combination of 24 and The 4400, but then I never saw the X Files, so maybe it’s more that. When she ran up the stairs to the boss’s office to tell him she’d found the guy who did the thing, it even looked like the steps up to the head office in the CTU building.

4My BIL and sister really like this show too. I’m not sure if I’ll get into it because she tried to explain it to me….and I might have nightmares!!!
