For a few days now, one of Lindsay’s training wheels on her bike keeps coming loose. So every time we go on a walk and she rides her bike, I have to bring along some pliers just in case her training wheel does it again. Highly annoying. So, I mentioned it to Jeff and jokingly I said that he should just teach her how to ride a two wheeler and then we wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore. He said he thinks she could do it and then we both went on to discuss how when she does ride her bike, a good majority of the time her training wheels never touch the ground. So, we brought the idea to Lindsay and asked her what she thought and she said, Let’s do it! So, we took them off and started the learning process. By the end of our 15 minute ride, she could do it for just a few seconds at a time and was so proud of herself it was too cute! So, I guess the girl can do whatever she puts her mind to! Now, I know that teaching her how to ride a two wheeler in the middle of October probably isn’t the best idea, seeing as how it’s going to snow and she won’t ride her bike for 5 months, but we do have a treadmill downstairs so we’ll just have her practice down there on that.
She usually doesn’t wear her helmet anymore but for this we thought it was needed.
Jeffy explaining to her that he wouldn’t let her fall.
And away we go!

Since we got rid of Logan’s binkie three months ago (WOW!) he keeps adding more and more things he needs to sleep with. First, it was just his blankie, of course. Then it was his blankie, a cup and a book. Now, he HAS to sleep with his blankie, his cup, a book (usually several) and his big doggy.
I often wonder if the reason he wakes up crying at night sometimes is because he’s rolled over a book or his cup. It sure is cute though.
Gotta love those rosy cheeks!

Thank you to all of you who gave me words of advice on what to do with Lindsay on her field trip. I ended up driving her there myself and am really glad I went. By Wednesday, I kept going back and forth between letting her go by herself or going with her and I was really okay with her driving there with her teacher but then I would literally start panicking thinking about her in a big place without me and her potentially getting lost. AGH!!! Almost losing her in Cancun has really made me quite the paranoid mom, for good reasons, I think. Anyway, the field trip was fun and Lindsay got to pick out a pumpkin and take it home. Thanks Miss Ari for a fun day!
Lindsay and her friend Afton.
I love her face in this one!
Walking through the corn maze.
They had some animals there and of course Lindsay loved them!
Playing on the little playground there.
Lindsay with her classes. This is two classes combined.
She’s so beautiful!
Can we say BIG pumpkin?
