Before I get into anything, I just wanted to publicly thank Digicert for all of the wonderful opportunities and blessings it has provided for our family. You are the best company ever!
Digicert took every employee and their families to Disneyland for Christmas. This was the second time they have taken us and just like the first time, it was a weekend to remember!! We had a wonderful time together as a family, but also a lot of fun spending time with other employees and their families. We did so many fun things while we were there! We went on every ride at least once and many multiple times, saw lots of characters, watched the Christmas parade, saw the Aladdin show, the playhouse disney show, had breakfast with the princesses, watched as Logan took a 4 HOUR nap in the stroller, we witnessed Lindsay convincing herself to go on California screamin’ only to discover she was an inch too short and then she was bummed, saw Fantasmic (which was awesome!) and of course the fireworks. Most of Jeff’s family came to spend the day with us on Friday and that was of course a lot of fun. We love Disneyland and always have such a great time when we’re there.
Thank you Digicert for an amazing weekend!
Now here is a buttload of pictures for you all to enjoy. =)
Jeffy holding his boss, Ken. Aren’t they cute?
The parade is one of my favorites!
Logan was so excited to see Buzz Lightyear. You can see him waving to him in this picture.
Lindsay loved the dwarfs. She thought Grumpy was hilarious!
Lindsay loved these people. She actually got up and curtsied to them. She’s so stinkin’ cute.
And Santa was there!!
The last day we were there it was raining pretty hard, so we only stayed at the park for about 3 hours and then came back to the hotel and sat in front of the fireplace to dry off. You can see how wet Lindsay’s pants were.
An exciting and exhausting weekend made for a nice and quiet plane ride home for Jeffy and I.
It was a blast!

Lindsay has been taking a Jazz dance class since the beginning of August and she has been having a blast! Her two friends, Ashlee and Emily, are in the class with her and they have loved it. I can’t even tell you how cute it was!! She was constantly smiling and couldn’t wait for it to start. She looked adorable in her little black jazz pants and Christmas vest and I have watched the video so many times already because it’s just so cute!. It’s not the best video, but the dance is so cute! I ordered a professional DVD of the performance so you can watch it when you come to my house.
When they open the curtains, she’s the first one to come out and at the end when they do their pose, Lindsay, Emily and Ashlee are all in the back.
You did a great job, Lindsay! We’re so proud of you!

These days the kids just play while I take a shower, but the other day I came out to find them like this:
And they stayed that way for a good 25 minutes. Logan is super lucky that Lindsay can already read and they can do things like this! I heart them!

A new do for Lindsay that I think is super cute!

Logan is potty trained! And has been for a couple of weeks now but I’m just now getting around to posting about it!
We had tried the potty training thing a couple of months ago, before our cruise, but it didn’t last very long and after that we just let it go for awhile. Then a week before Thanksgiving, we were hanging around watching TV and he comes up to me and says, very matter of factly, “Mommy, I’m going to go pee pee and poopy in the potty.”
And by golly, he meant it!
He’s a man of his word and has been potty trained ever since. When we started the last time, I took him to Walmart and let him pick out his own potty training prize and he of course picked out a cool backhoe tractor. I stuck it on the fridge and told him when he’s wearing big boys he can play with it. He asked me EVERY DAY if he could play with it and I would always ask him if he was wearing big boys and if he wasn’t, the answer was no. I guess it finally sunk in and he really wanted to play with it so he decided that he was ready.
We made a big boy chart for him with 7 days on it and when he stayed dry for 7 days he could have his backhoe tractor. Every day he was dry, he got to put the sticker on and then we would count how many days he had left and man oh man, he was excited!
I’m so proud of him! Look how happy he is!
After all of that, just to reinforce the idea even more, he gave all of his leftover diapers to baby Trevor because he’s a big boy now. Yay Logan! We love you!
And here is my new favorite picture to tease him with when he’s older.

This year we got to spend Thanksgiving with my entire family, minus my sister and her family. Everyone stayed here and it was fun to be thrown together like that. My brother and his family came from Arizona and it was fun for the cousins to get to spend some time together. We didn’t do a whole lot, mostly just reminiscing, but we did go see a few grave sites that my mom had just newly discovered and see the lights at Temple Square. I love spending time with family and making new memories that will last forever.
This year I am grateful for so many things. I am grateful that my kids are healthy. We have been sick a lot lately, but it’s never more than a cold or flu, and that’s something I’m truly grateful for. I’m grateful for a wonderful husband, who is an incredible hard worker, wonderful provider, amazing father and my bestest friend. I realized the other day that I have really grown up with Jeffy. We got married when I was 21 and he has helped me become the person I am today and I love him for it. I am thankful for my kids who are so sweet. I am thankful that we are moving closer to a temple so that we can participate more in those wonderful ordinances.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
