Yesterday was one of those days. You know, the ones when your child does something that let’s you know they aren’t babies anymore and that they really are growing up. As mothers, I think we dread them because we always want to hold on to that little piece of baby as much as possible.
My little Logan can say his S’s now.
No more “melling” (smelling). “What that mell?”
No more “niffing” (sniffing). “I can’t mell if I’m not niffing!”
No more “nood” (Snood). “Dwanma, can I play nood?”
I’ve never hated the letter S so much as I do today.

1This is sad news!
I remember when he started calling himself “Logan” instead of “Nogan”, and when he started calling himself “Nogan” instead of laughing whenever he heard his name.
But if Lindsay is any indication, I’m sure Logan will just find new ways to be adorable.

2My sad day was when he all of a sudden could say “Laura” instead of “Wora.” It’s like when Bethy calls me “Laura” and I want to cry…

3This is literally the worst thing that has ever happened. =( I don’t have any cute recollections to add, because I hardly ever see the little guy. Which, come to think of it, is also the worst thing that has ever happened.

4Someone in this family needs to have us another baby! And it’s not going to be me, thank goodness.
