Logan made a fort in the living room a few days ago using blankets, the exersaucer, the basket, stool and toys. He uses it as his puppy house where he pretends to be the puppy and I’m his mommy. It’s a game he’s loved to play since he was two. Guess what forts are good for?
A Sunday afternoon nap.

What does a boy need in his fort?

A bat, mitt, ball, darts and an airplane. This kid makes me smile…A LOT.

When Ryan plays in this…

…he always ends up looking like this…

…always takes the one sock off.

We always know where his socks are!

Ryan is the most entertained boy around. He doesn’t need toys to play with because he has a sister and brother who are super fun to watch and to play with.

Ryan usually sleeps till about 7:30 or 8 most of the time these days. The other day he slept in until almost 9 and the LiLo were thrilled to go get him. It was fun to watch all of this cuteness unfold.

Ryan loves his brother and sister! I truly enjoy watching them interact with each other and create a loving relationship with each other.

Lindsay has her little halfway through the year recital for gymnastics a few weeks ago. She was a little rusty because she had missed so many months before this, but she still loves it and does a great job!
Handstand!

Back handspring.

The bars are still her favorite.

She is starting to do some crazy stuff on the beam!

Ryan enjoyed watching and Logan enjoyed watching and playing around. He didn’t get to participate in his midway matinee cuz of the big yellow companion, so we’ll catch him next time.

Thanks for the memories! Here’s the kids partying all night long with our best of friends!

We went to California this year for Christmas and had a wonderful time! Jeff, Lindsay and Logan drove down and had a “cardy” (a party in the car, made up by Logan) and Ryan and I flew. The car was packed tight with things and stuff and more stuff, but we got it all down there and back. We had an enjoyable time in the warmer weather visiting with those we love.

Christmas Eve was super fun. They each opened their Christmas jammies and then it was time to get things ready! It’s so fun to watch your kids get all excited for Santa to come. LiLo made sure we had a plate of goodies for Santa and the reindeer and wrote him a cute little note.

They seemed to go to sleep pretty quickly, which is something I don’t remember doing as a kid, but as a parent I was grateful. :) And Christmas morning was a blast. Since it was on Sunday we got up and opened our stockings, had breakfast and went to a beautiful Sacrament meeting. Then we came home, got back into our jammies and opened presents. Here’s the picture story of it all.

Logan had some BIG presents this year!

Ryan LOVED the wrapping paper.

Logan finally getting to open the present from Lindsay. It’s a big RC monster truck!

He loves it so much! What a big thank you hug!

Santa brought Lindsay an American Girl doll. She was so excited!

For awhile after he opened that present, he just sat there next to it looking and looking. He had to wait to open it until after everyone was done. So cute.

Lindsay got the Dolphin Tale movie! Only later when she opened it, we discovered that some jerk had opened it at the store and stolen both discs and put it back on the shelf. Poor girl was in tears, but we reassured her that we would go back and get the real thing.

Uncle Laney helped Logan open his gifts because most of them were too big for him to open with just one hand. :)

Santa brought Lindsay the one thing she really wanted, a magician set!!
